Internship learning Objective
1. Description of internship duties and responsibilities:

Maintains confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment.

Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports.

Collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests.

Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical experience and knowledge.
-
Assess staff productivity utilizing organizational or industry standards.

Participates in crisis intervention activities as necessary

Effectively evaluate and treat clients

Establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of clients and co-workers

Communicate effectively orally and in writing

Establish a non-threatening treatment environment

Develop and use community resources.

Participate in a multi-agency children's system of care program in a variety of professional mental health diagnostic, counseling, treatment and community outreach services to clients; working with the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse, Juvenile Services and the education system; working with licensed clinicians specializing in evidence-based practices; working with families, children, adolescents and parents.

Under general supervision, assists conducts and participates in therapy as a member of a program team and have treatment responsibilities for selected cases.
